Welcome to the Tucson Chapter’s website.
Welcome to the Tucson Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated. We are proud to be a member of the premiere organization for the welfare of African-American children. Our chapter has been in existence for over 30 years. We are part of the Far West region of Jack and Jill. Tucson is located in the beautiful Sonoran Desert and enjoys 300 days a year of sunshine.
As we start our 2011-2012 program year we are honored to welcome our new “Sister” moms and are excited to leverage the special gifts of our members to execute programming designed to nurture our Jacks and Jills. Our objective is to embody the motto “Let’s Work, Let’s Play, Let’s Live Together”, while we develop future leaders
By focusing on philanthropic giving, volunteering in our local and regional communities, leadership and financial literacy training, as well as civic involvement, we will provide the foundational skills our children require to be leaders.
Our programming in 2011-2012 is focused on “Achieving Excellence, Inspiring Greatness, Motivating Youth to Lead and Serve”. The members of the Tucson Chapter have planned an exciting year for our membership.
We are committed to the success of African-American children in our community and on a global level. We have much to accomplish and plan to do so while having fun with one another. If you are the mother or female guardian of an African-American child ages 2 – 19 years of age, and would like more information regarding our programming and activities, please send an email to our membership chairperson at: VicePresident@jjtucson.org.
